As a small business owner, I find myself having to juggle so many things at one time- from my professional sales calls and meetings to my personal commitments with family and friends- not to mention things I want to do for myself.
Anyone into GTD knows about Omnifocus. It’s long been one of the champions in GTD workflows. Version 2 brings a tremendous and long needed change the the Omnifocus user interface. Omnifocus 2 is cleaner, easier to use, and overall has a much better flow to it.
Omnifocus 2 has completely blows away the competition with this update.
Omnifocus 2: The ultimate task organizer
In OmniFocus, the primary way you’ll organize tasks is in the projects view. Projects are similar folders, in that they will keep everything together for you. You can also have sub-projects as well as sub-tasks. This gives you the freedom to have as much or as little structure as you want to your tasks and daily workflow.
Hands down, the best new feature in Omnifocus 2 is the Forecast view. This is your daily snapshot of due tasks, but it also includes a calendar to you can get a complete view of your day. This is where I spend the majority of my time in Omnifocus.
Just go buy this
Many GTD enthusiasts will spend a lot of time going through tools and researching the best GTD application to keep track of their lists. I’ll just save you the effort and say this is the one you want. Nothing else even comes close.
