dropbox :: Curvve Media Blog
My list of some of the most important and crucial apps in my everyday workflow. The list contains a wide variety of apps, including file converters, GTD application, blog editor, a twitter client and more.
I’ve long looked for an app that will allow my wife and I to manage our bills from different computers. Chronicle is simple and easy to use. It’s ‘Lite’ application add-on sits in your menu bar and lets you know if any bills are due. You can easily pay bills online and log payments from the menu, even when Chronicle isn’t running.
A simple way to keep bills paid and in sync
My wife and I both have a quick list of which bills are due.
If I pay a bill, her computer is automatically updated so there is never a question as to which bills are due and which have been paid. This feature isn’t built into chronicle, but I was able to easily set this up using a dropbox shared folder.
Handles file conflicts like a champ
With dropbox there is always the ability for a conflict if we both make changes. Rather than creating several copies of the file, it takes the conflict and brings it into the app so you can see both copies of the bill (the standard and the conflict).
I can’t recommend this enough. If you need a way to easily pay your bills and keep them in sync between multiple people, this is the app for you.
